Who We Are

Welcome to IPMS Hamilton's website. IPMS Hamilton is proud to be a chapter of IPMS (International Plastic Modeling Society) Canada.  This unique society was founded in 1963, with Canada coming on board in 1964.  Our club received its charter in 2006 and we have been growing ever since. We are a diverse group of model enthusiasts who enjoy modeling subjects from military aircraft to cars. Amongst our members are a broad range of skills from beginners to experts, as we welcome all participants. Each year our club hosts one of the largest events in scale modelling in Canada known as HeritageCON. This event is our club's fund-raising activity for the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, which is where we are fortunate to meet. The museum does give us a unique opportunity to meet and discuss our members latest projects amongst the aircraft that are part of our country’s heritage.
