IPMS Hamilton held its September meeting, and it was a thrilling event for modeling enthusiasts. The highlight of the evening was an outstanding presentation on "Weathering Tracks," followed by an engaging hands-on session, thoughtfully prepared and led by Duncan A. Young.
Weathering Tracks Presentation:
The meeting kicked off with a captivating presentation on the art of weathering tracks. Weathering is an essential skill in scale modeling, and Duncan A. Young generously shared his expertise in creating realistic and weathered track effects. Attendees were treated to invaluable insights and tips on techniques, tools, and materials, references used to achieve authentic weathering effects on tank and vehicle tracks. Hands-On Session:
Following the presentation, attendees had the exciting opportunity to put their skills to the test during a hands-on session. Duncan A.
